Weymouth Police Charge Man With Third Drunken Driving Offense

A Weymouth man was charged with his third drunken driving offense Saturday after telling police he only had a couple tastes of alcohol.
Thomas F. Daly, 49, was also charged with driving with a revoked license according to the Patriot Ledger. He was ordered held on $2,500 cash bail during his arraignment at Quincy District Court.
Saturday afternoon, police responded to a report of a man driving erratically into the parking lot of Rite Aid on Washington Street and stumbling into the pharmacy. Upon arrival, police saw Daily driving towards the exit. As police talked to Daly, he smelled of alcohol, had trouble following instructions and had glassy bloodshot eyes, according to a police report.

Daly was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.
Daly is due back in court on Dec. 30.
