On Oct. 20, detectives were conducting surveillance of Marlon operating the same Acura TSX with passengers Liandra and Jusira. At approximately 2:30 p.m., detectives observed them meet with a male near the intersection of Middle and Lake Streets and allegedly conducted a drug deal, according to a press release.
The detectives attempted to stop the Acura on Middle Street at Main Street, but the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and was eventually stopped shortly after pulling onto Route 3 South.

Marlon refused to open the door and the window was breached. After a brief struggle, Marlon was placed in custody along with Liandra and Jusira.
Detectives recovered three false bottom diversion hides inside the vehicle that contained 11 bags of cocaine in various sizes weighing more than 10 grams, 16 bags of white powder believed to be Fentanyl in various sizes weighing more than 20 grams, and four different types of 30mg Oxycodone pills totaling more than 250 pills. Detectives discovered almost $2000 in cash and three cell phones in the vehicle.
Police say that Fentanyl is an extremely powerful opioid that is roughly 40 to 50 times more potent than 100% pure heroin. It is often used as a cutting agent for heroin or sold to unsuspecting customers as heroin. 30mg Oxycodone pills typically sell for approximately $30 apiece. The pills found in the vehicle have an approximately street value of $8,000.
