Weymouth Police Log: Drug Possession, Third Shoplifting Offense, and More

December 26

1:29 a.m. - Kwok Chan, 44, was arrested at the intersection of Middle and Winter Streets and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

5:20 p.m. - Charles Bartlett, 41, of Quincy,was arrested at Stop & Shop on Middle Street and charged with shoplifting by asportation (third offense). Bartlett also had an active warrant.

11:52 p.m. - After police received a report of an erratic operator at the intersection of Main Street and Nash Road, April Haskins, 30, of Easton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor (second offense) and marked lanes violation.

December 27

2:44 p.m. - During a traffic stop near Heath N’ Kettle Restaurant on Main Street, James Waterman, 49, of Abington, was arrested and charged with operating with a revoked license, possession of an open container of alcohol inside a motor vehicle, and two counts of possession of a Class B drug.

December 28

10:50 a.m. - Kenneth McArthur, 43, of Weymouth, was arrested on Summer Street on a warrant.

2:42 p.m. - Following a car crash on Bridge Street, Kimberly Bentley, 44, of Hull, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, and texting while driving.

7:52 p.m. - During a traffic stop near Tedeschi Food Shops on Washington Street, Meredith Mahony, 34, of Quincy, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class E drug, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with revoked registration. Mahony also had an active warrant.
