Wheaton College senior women's track and field star Samantha Bennett broke a 12-year-old school record in the 800 meter run at last week's All New England Championships at Boston University. Bennett, a Weymouth High School graduate,  qualified for the finals of the 800-meter run with a school record performance, finishing the half mile in 2:13.74. Bennett is a middle-distant runner who also plays on the school's soccer team. Wheaton College is located in Norton, MA.
