“I would like to thank everyone from the Association of Government Accountants – Boston Chapter for this recognition. I am honored and humbled to receive this award,” said Hall. “MDDC works tirelessly every day to improve the lives of people with disabilities, and I am fortunate to work for an organization with such an admirable mission. It is a team effort to run the agency efficiently, and I wouldn’t be successful in my job without the hard work and dedication of MDDC’s staff.”

Hall is an experienced government professional with a history of state and federal financial management. At MDDC, he oversees decisions involving business vision and strategy, leads the assessment of fiscal and budgetary data, and provides analysis and consultation for strategic balancing of staff, organizational resources and related cost-benefit analysis.

“Craig plays a vital role in the success of the Council,” said Daniel Shannon, executive director of MDDC. “I am thrilled to see his hard work and dedication recognized by such an esteemed group. Congratulations to Craig on this great honor.”

Over the years, Hall has received a number of awards and recognitions. He was appointed to the national finance committee and investment subcommittee for Council of State Governments. Hall also received peer-review Certificates of Excellence (2008-2012) for Citizen-Centric Reporting from the Association of Government Accountants, making MDDC the only Massachusetts state agency to achieve this award.

"Craig has shown himself to be effective as both a CCR practitioner and advocate,” said State Auditor Suzanne Bump, president of the Association of Government Accountants – Boston Chapter. “He delivers meaningful data and measures that help citizens better understand their government, and this is of immense value to their civic engagement."

“Craig is very deserving of this award,” said Relmond Van Daniker, executive director of the Association of Government Accountants. “He has been a leader in the citizen-centric program, and I want to thank Craig for his leadership in providing information for the taxpayers.”

Hall was honored at the AGA – Boston Chapter’s Annual Regional Professional Development Conference at Bentley University.
