The Weymouth Mexican restaurant will be handing out prizes and giveaways such as sunglasses, t-shirts, mustaches and more

Margaritas Mexican Restaurant in Weymouth will celebrate National Taco Day this Friday by bringing back its Taco Gigante.

The two-pound , 12-inch tortilla shell taco comes stuffed with lettuce, refried beans, Mexican rice, seasoned chicken, taco beef, pork carnitas, bacon, salsa fresca, cheese and queso sauce. Topped with crema, pickled jalapenos, picante sauce and hacienda sauce.

“We were so happy with the response to our National Taco Day promotion last year and wanted to make everything bigger and better this year by offering the Taco Gigante for an entire month,” said company President Hugo Marin in a press statement. “We are excited to share such a fun variation to a traditional Mexican dish. The taco is a simple, yet unique dining experience in that it gives guests an opportunity to create a variety of different flavor combinations.”

Margaritas will also partner with Sam Adams by handing out prizes and giveaways such as sunglasses, t-shirts, mustaches and more at the restaurant on Oct. 4.
