UPDATE: Missing Elderly Woman from Weymouth Flew to Florida, No Contact Made

Update, May 19 - The Weymouth Police Department has confirmed that Ellen Gribbin took a JetBlue flight to Florida on May 16. Police have not made contact with her.

WEYMOUTH, MA - An elderly woman from Weymouth has gone missing.

75-year-old Ellen Griffin was last seen on May 16 at 5 a.m. She was leaving her apartment with a pink suitcase and red plastic bag. She was wearing a light pink jacket with a white floral shirt, blue pants, and white sneakers, according to the Weymouth Police Department.

Griffin told a friend she was going to Florida, possibly Miami with unknown friends and inconsistent stories to different people. This is out of character for her, police said.
