Weymouth Senior Named to National Merit Scholarship Program
Fontbonne Academy in Milton had three students, including one from Weymouth, named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Fontbonne Academy student Maretta Morovitz of Weymouth and two of her fellow seniors were named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program, after scoing high on their PSATs.
Of the top 50,000 of more than 1.5 million students who took the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) in October 2011 and entered the National Merit Scholarship Program, 34,000 are recognized as Commended Students (the other 16,000, are named Semi-finalists).
“We are so proud of our scholars and their outstanding accomplishments,” said Fontbonne Academy Head of School, Mary Ellen Barnes.
