Weymouth SUV Slides Across Driveway, Into Lake
The man said he had to climb out of a window to escape his SUV.
WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth man started off his 2018 with an experience that could have ended a lot worse.
Ron Dwyer was backing out of his driveway Monday morning when his SUV began to slide on his icy driveway and kept going until it went into a nearby lake. Linda Fox, Dwyer's girlfriend, told WHDH that she watched as the vehicle refused to stop until it hit the lake.
Dwyer had to climb out of a vehicle window to escape. The couple said they are grateful to be alive after the scary start to the year.
