Weymouth Teen Arrested After Car Crash, Though he was Pulled Over
Dean A. Guilfoyle of Weymouth faces multiple drug-related charges.

An 18-year-old from Weymouth drove into a telephone pole while on Xanax, police say.
Dean A. Guilfoyle, was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with drugged driving, operating a motor vehicle to endanger, and possession of a class E drug, according to the Weymouth Police Log.
The Weymouth News reports that the vehicle made head-on contact with the pole, resulting in major front-end damage to the vehicle. When Guilfoyle left the vehicle, he was described as unstable on his feet and slurred his words, according to police.

Police say that Guilfoyle denied drinking and using drugs and medication before the cash but repeated the same statements over had to be reminded that he was involved in a crash and was not pulled over.
During a search of his vehicle, police found three pills with the word ”Xanax” engraved on them.
