On Dec. 19, at about 7:15 p.m., Boston Police responded to a call for a person shot on Bowdoin Street. At the scene, officers located a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 17-year-old Phillip Demings of Weymouth, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe that the pictured man is connected to the murder.
