Weymouth Teen Struck by Hingham Driver
The 13-year-old was hit by a car outside of Chapman Middle School.
WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth teenager was struck by a car at Chapman Middle School, officials confirmed.
At about 7:30 a.m., a car driven by a Hingham woman struck a 13-year-old girl in a crosswalk outside the school. The teen was taken to South Shore Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Weymouth police Cpt. Richard Fuller told the Patriot Ledger.
The driver stayed at the scene and was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
