Weymouth Town Employee Driving DPW Truck Injured in Rollover

A Weymouth town employee was injured Saturday afternoon after the town truck he was driving rolled over onto the front yard of a Front Street home.

The crash took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. according to WCVB.

Fire officials at the scene told the news station that the driver was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He was helped from the truck by the owner of the home, who was standing on his front yard only minutes earlier.

The assistance of the Massachusetts State Police was requested by Weymouth Police.
