Weymouth Woman Charged in Crash

Vanessa Makseyn, 34, was arrested following a crash Friday morning.

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth woman who had a revoked license faces charges after a Friday morning crash.

Vanessa Makseyn, 34, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license, using a false RMV document, operating to endanger, marked lanes violation and refusing to identify herself ,according to the Patriot Ledger.

Police say that Makseyn's vehicle crossed onto the other side of the road and she struck another vehicle. Makseyn said it was because of a mechanical issue. She allegedly gave police a driver's license with a different name and picture.

Both drivers were taken to South Shore Hospital, with Makseyn leaving before police arrived.

She was found and taken into custody at her home.
