Weymouth Woman Charged With Selling Drugs Out of Apartment

Alsinoe Perez, 53, was arrested on several drug charges.

WEYMOUTH, MA — A woman who was allegedly in possession of multiple drugs was arrested Tuesday.

Alsinoe Perez, 53, was taken into custody on charges of distribution of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, conspiracy to violate the drug laws, two counts of possession to distribute Class C drugs, and three counts of distribution of Class B drugs, according to the Weymouth Police Department. She was ordered held on $1,000 cash bail during her arraignment in Quincy District Court.

On April 25, detectives were monitoring Perez’s activities when they observed a male enter the apartment. A short time later the male left and moved his vehicle to another location in the complex. Detectives approached the male who was preparing you use heroin. He admitted he had just purchased the heroin from Perez, police said.

At approximately 2:53 p.m., detectives executed a search warrant at Perez’s apartment on Avalon Drive. Police say recovered a large quantity of heroin and a significant amount of various prescription pills, $5,000 in cash as well as other evidence indicative of drug dealing.

Perez is due back in court June 5.
