WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth woman stomped a kitten to death during a drunken rage, police said.
Eleanor Campbell, 35, was arrested Friday night and charged with animal cruelty and disturbing the peace, according to the Patriot Ledger.
At about 9 p.m. Friday night, police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a multi-family home on Saunders Street. Campbell, who was in the driveway, said there wasn't a fight and was told to go back inside and keep the noise down. About 10 minutes later, police were called back after a person reported a woman throwing things at a cat. Police say they found Campbell in a shirt and socks yelling at a neighbor's window.
