You might want to hurry and make that bank deposit before the weekend.

Saturday is Independence Day, and chance are you’ve got plans for the weekend. Make sure your propane tank is filled, you’ve got some sparklers and plenty of buns and beer.

Note: Banks are closed on July 3, as well, observing the holiday on Friday. Check with your town hall, as many have modified hours or are closed. Libraries, too, are closed.

  • Liquor stores: Open.
  • Supermarkets: Open.
  • Convenience stores: Open.
  • Taverns, bars: Open.
  • Banks: Closed.
  • Libraries: Closed.
  • Stock market: Closed.
  • Municipal, state, and federal offices: Closed.
  • Mail: Post offices closed; express delivery only.
