Whole Foods Announces Opening in South Weymouth
The Weymouth store will include unique features including a coffee and smoothie bar with seating, a pizza oven with a direct take-out phone line, and an artisanal cheese room.

Whole Foods Market will open in South Weymouth next month.
The natural and organic supermarket said they will open their newest location, at 35 Pleasant on Wednesday, July 10 at 10 a.m. following their company’s traditional bread-breaking ceremony at 9:45 a.m.
The store will include unique features including a coffee and smoothie bar with seating, a pizza oven with a direct take-out phone line, and an artisanal cheese room, according to company spokeswoman Heather W. McCready.

The 40,000 square foot store will bring more jobs to Weymouth. The new company is expected to employ approximately 140 full and part time team members, according to McCready.
The South Weymouth location will be the grocery store’s 23rd location in Massachusetts and second on the South Shore, with the other being at Hingham's Derby Street Shoppes.

Whole Foods Weymouth will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
The public is welcome to attend the bread breaking ceremony.
