Woman Injured In Rt. 3 Crash

WEYMOUTH, MA — A driver was hospitalized following a crash in Route 3 Thursday afternoon.

At about 4:40 p.m., a vehicle was driven into the median on Route 3 North near the Derby Street exit, according to the Patriot Ledger.

The driver, a 42-year-old Gloucester woman, was seriously injured and taken to South Shore Hospital.

The crashed closed left lane of the highway for three hours.

The crash is under state police investigation.
