WEYMOUTH, MA — One person has died following a crash on Route 3 in Weymouth. At about 5:42 p.m., a trooper on the southbound side of the highway saw a rollover on the northbound side. A preliminary investigation indicates that the driver, a 65-year-old Marshfield woman, lost control of her Ford Explorer, hit a Honda CRV, and rolled over. The Marshfield woman was ejected from the Explorer. The woman was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The operator of the CRV, a 66-year-old Weymouth man, and his two passengers were uninjured. The cause of the crash is under police investigation. <hr />Image via Shutterstock
