Join us at ValleyCAST every month for a fun, FREE, and creative art workshop!
In July we’re exploring cyanotype, a sun-based printing process that produces deep blue prints from everyday objects. Leaves, feathers, lace, grass — anything flat and interesting works. We’ll be using a pretreadted light-sensitive paper, arrange whatever you’ve collected on top, and the sun develops the image for you. It’s a surprisingly simple process with beautiful results, and no photography or art background is needed. Come ready to experiment.
This workshop is led by multimedia artist Charlotte Eckler, who has learned from expert artists but maintains an intuitive process that can be practiced by artists of all levels and abilities.
