5 Arrested In Wilmington Last Week: Police Logs

Also, lots of people got winter parking ban notifications and police had to show a man how to defrost his windshield.

WILMINGTON, MA — The following are derived from Wilmington's police logs for the last week. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Monday, Dec. 9

At 12:53 p.m., police responded to a three car crash, with multiple children in two of the vehicles. Police did not report any injuries.

Tuesday, Dec. 10

At 12:38 p.m., police arrested a 26-year-old man with an outstanding out-of-town warrant.

At 5:27 p.m, a 29-year-old Wilmington man was arrested on charges of driving on a suspended license.

Wednesday, Dec. 11

At 7:47 p.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call from a man whose windshield was frozen over. The responding officer showed him how to defrost it.

Thursday, Dec. 12

Around 1 a.m., police gave winter parking ban notifications to 9 vehicles.

Friday, Dec. 13

At 12:27 a.m., a 43-year-old Wilmington man was arrested and charged with operating under the influence.

At 3:37 p.m., there was a car crash involving a school van with four children on board. Police did not report any injuries.

Saturday, Dec. 14

At 7:56 p.m., two men were arrested and charged with attempting to steal tires from the Firestone shop on Main Street. The men, a 57-year-old Salem man and a 40-year-old Peabody man, were using a Hertz rental.
