All Wilmington Precinct To Vote At Shriners Auditorium Nov. 3
The Board of Selectmen made a one-time change in response to the coronavirus.
WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington voters will all cast their ballots at the Shriners Auditorium on Nov. 3, regardless of their precinct, the town announced Monday.
The Selectmen voted for a onetime change to voting locations, in response to the coronavirus. Social distancing requirements would limit the number of voting booths in the normal voting locations, potentially leading to long lines. The Auditorium has more space for distanced voting booths.
In addition, any residents that do have to wait in line to vote will be able to line up inside the building, outside of the elements.
