WILMINGTON, MA — Police said they recently made 90 motor vehicle stops, which resulted in criminal charges for three drivers.
Police said in a Facebook post on July 7 that the stops were "part of our ongoing commitment to traffic safety."
The three drivers charged were for having an uninsured vehicle, operating with a suspended license and providing a false ID to police.
Police also stopped a dump truck that was operating in an unsafe condition.
State police conducted an inspection and found two flat tires and other safety violations. The dump truck was placed out of service until the issues are resolved.
