WILMINGTON, MA — Join the Wilmington Police Department and our local, state, and federal public safety partners for our annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM!
National Night Out is a nationwide event that brings communities and law enforcement together to strengthen relationships, build trust, and promote safer neighborhoods. It is an opportunity to meet the officers who proudly serve Wilmington, connect with the many public safety agencies we work alongside every day, and learn more about the important services they provide.
Most importantly, it's an evening for the entire community to come together and have fun. There will be interactive displays, public safety demonstrations, police vehicles and equipment, and activities for all ages, making it a great event for the whole family.
Food will be available for purchase from Red Heat Tavern, and the Queen Bean Coffee Truck will be on hand serving up her royally good coffee, one cup at a time. Free ice cream will also be available!
Whether you're meeting your local police officers for the first time, reconnecting with familiar faces, or simply looking for a fun summer evening with the family, National Night Out has something for everyone.
We look forward to seeing you on August 4 as we celebrate community, partnership, and the people who make Wilmington a great place to live.
