• Town looking to place moratorium on data centers (homenewshere.com) — Wilmington officials are drafting a bylaw to temporarily block large data centers, tightening definitions around floor space, power use, noise, and water impacts so big facilities can't slip in as "accessory" uses. At the same Planning Board meeting, members weighed a multifamily plan on Salem Street, new Verizon antennas, a Lowell Street car wash redesign, and a porch variance request, all affecting nearby neighborhoods.
• Wilmington remembers the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001 (homenewshere.com) — Wilmington residents recently gathered on the Town Common to honor lives lost on 9/11, with 2,977 flags placed to represent each victim. Local officials, first responders, and veterans shared reflections on sacrifice and ongoing grief, while the WHS band and bagpipes provided solemn music.
