Obituary: John "Jack" B. Maguire

Mr. Maguire, patrolman for the Woburn police department, was the husband of Desiree A. (Nollett) Maguire and the father of Bryan Maguire of Wilmington, Tara Maguire of Wilmington and Sean Maguire of Woburn. He was the brother of Charles T. Maguire and his wife Kathleen of Reading and the son of the late former Woburn Chief of Police Thomas J. Maguire Jr. and Esther L. (McPartlin) Maguire. He was also the son-in-law of Rita (Carangelo) Nollett of Wilmington, formerly of Stoneham and the late Donald Nollett, nephew of Mary E. Maguire of Woburn, brother-in-law of David and Joanne Nollett of Wilmington, Denise Cole of Florida, Donald and Elaine Nollett of Saugus and Joe and Danielle Nesbit of Stoneham. He was the uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn will be on Friday, Dec. 31 at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service celebrated in the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 60 Forest Park Rd., Woburn at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Visiting hours at the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30 from 3 to 8 p.m. Services will conclude with full honors and burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Boy's and Girl's Club of Woburn, Gardner Lane, Woburn, MA 01801.
