UPDATED: Armed Man at Wilmington Train Station in Custody
Man was said to be armed with a knife and baton and not complying with authorities.

Wilmington Police have someone in custody following a standoff with an individual sporting a knife and a baton at the Wilmington train station on Main Street. That individual is being transported by ambulance to Lahey in Burlington.
Initial reports came in just before 4 p.m. that an individual was at the Wilmington Station armed with a knife and baton, refusing to comply with authorities. It was unknown if he was on a train at the time.
Wilmington Police are on the scene. Tewksbury Police were also at the station to help with the suspect, said to have been bringing tasers to help subdue the individual.

Trains are currently delayed in both directions in and out of North Station between Wilmington and Lowell due to police activity.
