It is a sample of the types of calls the Wilmington Police responded on Tuesday, October 24. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 12:57 am: Check of path behind Ristuccia Memorial Arena. Signs of activity but no one present.

1:57 am: Assist Burlington Police in recovery of car as part of an ongoing criminal investigation on Mill Road. Resident refused to surrender keys or speak with officers. Vehicle towed to Burlington's on-call service location.

5:07 am: Suspicious purchase of gift cards at CVS on Main Street.

11:11 pm: Verbal dispute on Hanover Street. Caller says woman in his backyard claiming she is the landlord. Wants her removed.

12:28 - 12:44 pm: Eight parking citations issued at MBTA commuter lot.

12:34 pm: Teachers report smell of gasoline at Shawsheen School. Fire Department on its way.

3:09 pm: Senior center employee reports resident said someone is in a tent behind her home and someone came to her door at 11 pm last night. No one in tent.

3:14 pm: Assault at Shell station on Main Street. Simple assault; victim unsure if he wants to press charges.

3:50 pm: Attempted break-in sometime between Thursday and Tuesday at Winchester Family Medical Center. Break-in attempt unsuccessful.

4:25 pm: Tree on wires on Shady Lane.
