Bendel Thanks Supporters, Opponents In Wilmington Election

The newly-reelected Wilmington selectman says thanks in a letter to the editor.

WILMINGTON, MA — The following editor was submitted to Wilmington Patch by Wilmington Selectman Greg Bendel. Bendel was the top vote getter in Saturday's six-way race for two seats that were up for reelection. His current term will expire in 2022.

Dear Editor:

I want to thank all of the voters who supported me at last Saturday’s Town Election. I’m grateful for the many people worked very hard to make this possible. It was a total team effort. I would like to congratulate all of the other candidates who participated and those who were elected. I sincerely appreciate all of the support I have received over the past few months. I look forward to working hard and volunteering my time to help the residents of our town. My hope is that we can all work together to keep Wilmington moving forward in a positive direction.
