Josephine Needs A Home

The Lots of Love Cat Rescue has a cat in an emergency situation.

Sweet Josephine has been through alot and now faces her biggest challenge-can a foster or permanent home be found before time runs out? You see, Josephine had to first learn to survive a harsh winter-outside, because someone dumped her in an industrial area at a young age. Frozen and starving, she found other dumped cats being cared for. Although she’s submissive, one cat wouldn’t allow her into a makeshift shelter, so winter was spent huddled under a dumpster. One night their feeder noticed a coyote stalking Josephine so she spent the night using her car to chase the persistent coyote away. Josephine came when called and allowed patting, but wouldn’t stay in her arms. The stalking went on for three nights until we were contacted. Once trapped, Josephine was then overlooked for a year due to her people shyness and being an all-black cat. Finally she was adopted into a home with other cats. Now, eighteen months later, she has to go because their environment is too overwhelming for Josephine. She is quiet, affectionate and tender and needs someone that can provide a quiet, loving, only cat home. She only has until mid April, but unfortunately LOLCR foster homes are overflowing. Please consider helping even if you can only offer fostering. Josephine desperately needs someone to rescue her again. Perhaps it could be you?
