According to the Catholic Community Outreach coordinator Pat Archfiled, this event, which was organized about 3 months ago, was a chance for the " community to join together in fellowship" and in light of the horrific events that had taken place this past week to heal and bond". Also people were able to leave the event go to the common for the Candlelight Vigil and then return to share their experience.
As Far as who won the event; Bill Mance won for the hottest chili, and Board of Selectman member Mike Champoux and his son Mike won for the best all around.
