Wilmington Sons Of Italy Easter Bunny Breakfast

Palm Sunday morning, the Wilmington Sons Of Italy held its annual Easter Bunny Breakfast, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall. 

Over 280 People from the Wilmington and towns around Wilmington stopped by between  9 a.m. and 12 p.m. to enjoy a great breakfast Of eggs, home fries, French toast sticks and muffins.

The Easter Bunny Breakfast is an annual event that the Sons of Italy run to  Support the Relay for Life. The Sons not only supports, but also puts a team of walkers into the event. This event helps raise awareness and educate in the fight against cancer. To aid in raising funds, besides the breakfast, a raffle, of over 100 items, from hand made Easter baskets put together by Sons of Italy members, and business and Restaurant Gift certificates.

Of course the guest of honor was the Easter Bunny, who stopped by and was nice enough to stay for the whole breakfast so that all the children there could stop, shake paws, and have their picture taken with Him/Her.

The event was a great success, and raised money for a very worthy event
