Whitelam Books is thrilled to participate in Independent Bookstore Day, a one-day national party that takes place at over 1400 indie bookstores across the country, as well as the North of Boston Book Trail! We'll be celebrating on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM and we’ll continue the festivities on Sunday, April 27 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Whitelam Books is located in downtown Reading at 610 Main Street, near the intersection of Haven Street and Main Street.
Join us at 10:00 AM on the dot as owner Liz Whitelam rings a ceremonial bell to open the day! There will be exclusive Independent Bookstore Day merchandise on sale, as well as the ever-popular ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) Book Cart with the purchase of any 2 items! Come chat with local authors who will be on hand as Honorary Booksellers to talk all things books, and enjoy fun, surprises, and treats, while supplies last!
Additionally, one lucky in-store shopper will find the hidden Libro.FM Golden Ticket, granting them a year of free audiobooks!
