Car Hits Pedestrian On Route 62 In Wilmington
The accident came shortly after Wilmington Police posted a message on social media urging drivers to be careful during the PM commute.

WILMINGTON, MA -- A woman was reportedly unconscious after being hit by a car while crossing Route 62 Monday afternoon. The accident was reported on social media shortly after Wilmington Police had posted a warning to drivers about poor rush hour conditions thanks to wet weather and the early sunset.
First responders requested a helicopter to transport the victim to a Boston hospital, but that request was denied because of the weather. The victim is being transported by ambulance to Mass General Hospital.
