Cardinal Spellman was in control from the start, taking advantage of Shawsheen mistakes and pouncing to a 24-0 lead at halftime. The first touchdown by the Cardinals came after a bad snap on a Ram punt handed them the ball just six yard from the end zone.
Despite the defeat, Shawsheen bounced back nicely from a 1-4 start. The Rams went on to conclude the season at 6-5 with a league title under their belt.
