Coming Soon: Champions on Ice

It seems like just yesterday that captain Zdeno Chara was skating over, putting his hands on and hoisting it high in the air above his 6'9" frame.

And now, after a whirlwind summer, the black and gold are coming back to Wilmington.

The team announced its full preseason schedule on Tuesday, and many of the dates include sessions on the ice of .

Here's a complete look at all local practices:

• Friday, Sept. 9, rookie practice begins at 12 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 10, rookie practice begins at 11 a.m.
• Sunday, Sept. 11, rookie practice begins at 10 a.m.
• Thursday, Sept. 15, rookie practice begins at 10 a.m.
• Tuesday, Sept. 20, Group B practice begins at 10 a.m., Group A practice begins at 11:15 a.m.
• Wednesday, Sept. 21, game players practice begins at 10 a.m., non-game players practice at 11:15 a.m.
• Thursday, Sept. 22, Group A practice begins at 11 a.m., Group B practice begins at 1 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 1, game players practice at 9:30 a.m., non-game players practice at 10:45 a.m.
