Delays Possible On Lowell Street In Wilmington Starting Nov. 6

Work on the sewer extension project is expected to last 2-3 weeks.

WILMINGTON, MA -- A sewer-extension project at 168 Lowell Street in Wilmington could lead to delays on the busy roadway beginning on Monday, Nov. 6. The blue line on the map above shows the area that will be impacted. The privately funded construction project is necessary to extend sewer service to the new construction on the site.

The town said work is expected to last between two and three weeks and will take place Monday through Friday between 7 am and 4 pm. The project is expected to result in short traffic delays, particularly as the project advances through the Woburn and Lowell Street intersection 900 feet east of the property.
