Do You Know the Next WHS Hall of Famer?

There have been plenty of talented, memorable athletes in the long history of . Now, Wildcat supporters want your help in honoring the best of the best.

The Wilmington High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee announced recently that the annual nomination process closes on March 5 for former Wildcats who graduated at least 10 years ago.

Athletes, coaches, benefactors and special contributors are eligible for consideration. Any athletes nominated must have played a minimum of one varsity sport.

Selections will be made on on the evaluation of what the athletes did while at the high school. Achievements made at the college or professional level will not impact the decision making process.

Wilmington's Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1990 and considers nominees on a yearly basis.
