Ducklings Rescued From Storm Drain In Wilmington
Local and state environmental police along with Wild Bill Animal Science responders helped reunite the ducklings with their mother.

WILMINGTON, MA — Ducklings were trapped in a storm drain early Tuesday morning. Fortunately, the ducks were rescued in a joint effort.
The Wilmington Police Department posted the following on Facebook:
Earlier this morning, officers from the Wilmington Police Department responded to Main Street for a report of ducklings trapped in a storm drain. The incident was reported by Wild Bill from Wild Bill Animal Science who remained on scene and assisted responders throughout the rescue.

With the assistance of the Massachusetts Environmental Police and Wild Bill Animal Science, responders were able to safely remove the ducklings from the drain and reunite them with their mother. They were then relocated to Rotary Park where they could safely continue on their way.
We appreciate the teamwork and quick response from everyone involved in helping ensure a safe outcome for these animals.
