A.I.M: Access is Mandatory/Angels in Motion

The purpose of AIM is to serve the physically challenged people of Wilmington and surrounding towns. Since the beginning in 1987 AIM has expanded to serve anyone in the area living with challenges or difficult transitions in their life by providing a place where they can make new friends and enjoy the day.

AIM meets every Tuesday from 9:30am to 2:30pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

There is no cost for admission and no membership requirement to participate in AIM activities. Donations are welcome!

A luncheon is served at every AIM meeting. Games are an important part of the day. You can usually find a game of Cribbage or Hearts that you can join. Other games favorites include Rummy Cube, Boggle, Scrabble and Bingo. Some people are happy reading the newspaper.

There are occasional speakers to talk about access to community resources, special clothing adapted for disabled people. Many local groups come and entertain AIM members, especially during the holiday seasons.
