About the Program
The all-important job interview -- it's your one chance to sell yourself to a potential employer, and you don't want to blow it. In this class, attendees will build interviewing skills and learn how to act when confronted with a single interviewer or a group; develop interviewing techniques to help respond to a wide variety of questions; and discover what you should never say or do! Attendees will also receive tips on how to make a winning impression; handle tough questions with ease; and communicate your salary and career goals. When you're prepared for a job interview, your confidence will shine through!
About the Presenter
Judit Price has an M.S. in Counseling and is a certified career guidance counselor in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She focuses on career/employment and education counseling and provides services that help corporations, professionals, students and parents make more informed decisions regarding education, future career plans, job fit and organization effectiveness. Price is a writer and lecturer on a variety of employment, educational and career-related topics and has taught numerous educational/career counseling-related courses in local institutions of higher education. She frequently appears in the local media and has been frequently interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, Career Builder, Jobhunt.org and other online and print publications.
Fine Print
Doors open at 6:15pm. The event begins at 6:30pm. Registration is strongly recommended as it aids both the library staff and presenter with planning. Registration is limited. Register by stopping by the Reference Desk; calling 978-640-4490 ext. 207; or visiting the library's online calendar of events (www.tewksburypl.org). Light refreshments will be provided. A door prize will be awarded. This event is FREE thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library. The Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library's Friendly Little Bookshop will be open prior to the event.
