About the Program
Children (best for ages 2 to 8) and their caregivers will listen to an animated and enthusiastic reading of Sandra’s book, “Hey! Let’s Play! A Book About Playground Safety,” which is endorsed by the National Program for Playground Safety. Ten different easy-to-follow safety tips will be presented and children will be asked to help with demonstrations. Parents and children will have their playground safety IQ’s tested, and will also be given the opportunity to ask their own questions.
About the Presenter
Sandra Libby is a professional playground safety expert, playground coordinator for the town of Billerica, and author of a playground safety book for children. Following the program, Sandra’s book will be available for sale for $10.

Doors open at 6:15pm. The class begins at 6:30pm. Registration is strongly recommended as it aids the presenter and library staff in planning. Register by stopping by the Reference Desk; calling 978-640-4490 ext. 207; or visiting the library's calendar of events (www.tewksburypl.org). Registration is limited. Light refreshments will be provided. A door prize will be awarded. This class is FREE thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library.About the Program
