A chaperone will accompany the group on the motorcoach to the Big Apple. A brief comfort stop/coffee break will be made on route. Feel free to bring your own coffee, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. You will arrive in NYC at approximately 11:00 a.m. (weather and traffic permitting). Drop off locations are: Rockefeller Center, Battery Park, Canal Street. Drop off locations are subject to change due to construction and/or traffic. Your chaperone has maps showing some locations you might choose to visit. Pre-plan your day! Check the Wilmington Memorial Library, travel agencies and websites for information about the many things to do and see while in Manhattan! Explore the city at your leisure. If you are planning to attend a Broadway show, select a show time that allows for morning traffic into the city, and ample time to get to the departure point for the trip home. When purchasing theatre tickets in advance, ask if insurance is available in case the trip is cancelled, or your arrival is delayed due to weather or traffic conditions. Your chaperone and bus driver will tell you where to meet the bus for your return trip to Wilmington.
