Truck Catches On Fire At Wilmington Construction Company

WILMINGTON, MA -- First responders were responding to a fire at 900 Salem Street in Wilmington Thursday afternoon. The fire was described as "fully involved" and may have started in construction equipment on the site, according to scanner reports. The address is the location of the Benevento Companies, a construction materials manufacturer.

At 4:45 pm, according to scanner reports, the fire was extinguished and the scene had been cleared. Tewksbury and North Reading Fire Departments provided mutual aid during the fire.
