1. Residents hoping for a white Christmas are quickly running out of time. Another day will pass without any of the powdery white stuff. According to Weather.com, temperatures will spike to 49°. The only precipitation on the day will be the 90 percent chance rain that exists later in the day.
2. The Wilmington girls basketball team made it two in a row on Tuesday night. Jay Keane's Lady Wildcats cruised to a 61-48 road victory against Lexington thanks to a team high 24 points from Emily Crannell, followed by Jen Stewart who chipped in 13 markers of her own.

3. Several teams are in action on Wednesday night as students get closer to winter break. The wrestling team hosts Arlington in a home meet at 6:30 p.m., while the welcomes Reading to at 8 p.m. Meanwhile, , off to a 1-0-1 start, travels to Reading at 5:45 p.m.
