Four Arrested On Outstanding Warrants And One Of Them Was Passed Out: Wilmington Police Log

WILMINGTON, MA -- The following are items recorded by the Wilmington Police Department in its public police log. It is a sample of the types of calls the Wilmington Police responded on Thursday, October 19. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. Arrests

At 2:20 a.m. police responded to a report of suspicious activity at Dunkin Donuts on Middlesex Avenue and arrested Ruben A. Santana, 40, of Lawrence on outstanding warrants.

At 10:43 a.m., the manager from Avalon Oaks and reports a man passed out in a stairwell of one of the buildings. He was seen walking away with two other men. All three men were arrested on outstanding warrants and two were place in protective custody. One of the men was transported to Winchester Hospital. The men were:

• Ryan Andrew Cavalcanti, 23, of Marlborough (outstanding warrants)
• Michael A. Baptista, 27, of Malden (protective custody and outstanding warrants)
• Jared Paul Donaghey, 23, of Woburn (protective custody and outstanding warrants)

Other Wilmington Police Activity

7:22 am: Resident requests more patrols between 7 and 8 am and 2 and 3 pm, as she believes students from the Tech are cutting through Pouliot Place and speeding.

8:20 am: Route 38 sign at intersection of Lowell Street and Middlesex Avenue is missing.

8:43 am: Motor vehicle accident with injury at Route 125 and Ballardville Street.

8:54 am: Assisted in installing two child safety car seats.

11:02 am: Resident draining pool water into storm drain in violation of town bylaws.

1:08 pm: Assisting with school drill at Wildwood Street School.

2:16 pm: Lost dog returned home.

4:11 pm: Pick up prisoner at Winchester Hospital.

5:38 pm: Downed wires on Middlesex Avenue at Adams Street.
