Friday Night Crash In Wilmington Still Under Investigation
The crash on Hopkins Street left two people hospitalized and the road closed for several hours.

WILMINGTON, MA -- Police in Wilmington are continuing to investigate a Friday crash on Hopkins Street near the Billerica town line. The crash sent two people to the hospital, one of which suffered serious injuries. Hopkins Street was closed for several hours following the crash Friday evening.
Police have not released details of the two victims, only saying that the person who sustained serious injuries was from Tewksbury and the person who sustained non-life threatening injuries was from Wilmington. No charges have been filed thus far.
The two vehicles crashed head on. One driver was reportedly unconscious while the other was pinned in their vehicle. police summoned several ambulances to the scene of the crash, which occurred around 6:30 pm Friday.
