Two-thirds vote now needed on Saturday.

In a landslide vote, the Wilmington High School construction project passed at Special Town Election and is now a two-thirds vote away from becoming a reality.

With all precincts accounted for, Town Clerk Sharon George announced the unofficial total as 3,778 residents voting "Yes" and 1,247 voters logging a "No" decision.

In order for the town to officially approve the project, taxpayers must approve the school with a two-thirds vote at Special Town Meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
