ICYMI: Wilmington Teacher Works with Google to Help Develop "Google Classroom" App
The teacher was one of eight teachers nationwide who assisted Google on the project.

WILMINGTON, MA — A Wilmington High School teacher was one of eight teachers nationwide to work with Google engineers on Google Classroom, an app that aims to help streamline educational processes.
According to a Wilmington Public Schools announcement, Technology Integration Specialist Julie Kelley spent several days at Google NYC working with engineers to help make the app more "teacher-friendly." The announcement indicated that Kelley would be an integral part of the WPS' Google Chromebooks one-to-one initiative with the ninth grade class.
“Julie’s knowledge of Google will be indispensable to the staff and students as we work our way through the first year of the Google Chromebook initiative," Director of Technology Anne-Marie Fiore said.
